((I'm making this short cause I don't want to go into detail. I don't really know what goes as corrupted in the Republic))
Delta was sitting at the very back of the meeting, surveying everything. She got the impression that everyone was doing this for their own ends, well except Leia Organa, she was probably the only one who tried to tell the people they were doing this for the good of the galaxy. The others just wanted a larger mound of credits.
In the end of the lengthy meeting Leia Organa and a series of other high ranking officials gave word of their departure from the Republic. They felt the New Republic was as bad as the Empire right now. The members filed out of the meeting chambers and Delta was closely behind them, she had to tell this news to Arnst.

Bren returned to the meeting room, after watching all the trouble Arnst and the others caused on the security cams. Bren knew however that they meant no harm to the republic, so he did not raise the station into high alert. He didn't know where they were now, but hoped they hadn't gotten themselves killed or anything. As the meeting went on, he noticed many of the soldiers weren't paying attention to what was going on. Some were talking to each other, looking elsewhere... they were acting like mercenaries. Bren made a note to ask Leia about this lack of discipline later.

Bren returned to the meeting silently after watching Arnst and the others leave. He was sad-- most of his good friends in the Republic were declaring their intentions to leave forever. These friends were all high ranking, they would be replaced soon, but my whom? Leia Organa was still talking. "As you all know, Corellia is Imperial controlled now. We have plans to regain it, but these plans can not be carried out until the officials that have just left are replaced..." Eventualy, the meeting was adjourned, and all the people in the room filed out-- except for Leia. Bren used this chance to speak to her. He told her about his concerns. "I know." she told him. "Our most trusted officers have stopped serving the Republic, and these new recruits you saw in the meeting have been trained with no discipline. Sometimes I wonder if the Republic is slipping these days."
