Lots of PCs are fighting PVP (player vs player) which is ultimately not a bad thing. But, things have been causing players...grief. Some of you are saying you kill him instantly, not giving a chance for them to defend or anything.
An example of a bad PVP:
Obi Wan ran up and cut Yoda's head off, it fell to the floor and he laughed evily.
This wouldn't even give Yoda a chance to escape, block or react in some sort of way. This is a big no-no.
An example of a good PVP:
Obi Wan ran forwards, igniting his lightsaber. He jumped up, attempting to slash at Yoda's head. Hopefully it would hit.
This would give the other player a chance to react, so their character isn't instantly dead. This would give Yoda the chance to react.
Yoda heard the blue-plasma blade humming, and without thinking took his out, just in time to parry Obi Wan's attack.
Of course there would be more detail, this is just an example of what will be done. Not what should be done.

Hey there. I'm new here, and this s my first post. I just want to say I've had lots of experience in former RPs fighting fairly, and would be happy to give some tips and examples on what a good fight could be. Of course, I tend to use both characters in the fight without making either look weak, but I can still do it if there's any real trouble. Just a thought.
